Which companies we evaluated, which we excluded, and why

Every ranking is shaped as much by who's in it as by the scores. This page shows the full screening record: the eight providers evaluated in this edition, the companies excluded with the specific reason, and qualifying providers not yet evaluated. If a company is missing entirely, tell us.

Evaluated in this edition (8)

Teleperformance, Foundever, Konecta, Transcom, Simply Contact, Mplus, Conectys, Armatis. All meet the inclusion criteria: European headquarters, customer service outsourcing as a primary service line, 100+ delivery FTEs, 3+ years operating, verifiable delivery footprint, at least one independent evidence source, and service coverage of European buyers.

Excluded by scope: not European-headquartered

Company HQ Note
Concentrix (incl. former Webhelp)United StatesWebhelp was European-HQ until the 2023 acquisition; the combined entity is US-headquartered

ComdataMerged into Konecta (2022); evaluated within Konecta

A global edition covering the US-headquartered field may follow; several of these providers would rank highly in it.

Excluded by inclusion criteria

Company Reason
CCaaS/software vendors (Zendesk, Genesys, Five9, etc.)Sell platforms, not delivery — fail criterion 1
Freelancer marketplaces and staffing platformsNo owned delivery operations or QA framework
Lead-generation sites presenting as providersNo verifiable delivery footprint — fail criterion 4
Capita (UK)Diversified outsourcer; customer experience is a minority line within a conglomerate primarily serving UK public-sector contracts — fails the primary-service-line test as applied at group level. Its CX division is a candidate for standalone evaluation in the next edition.

Qualifying — slated for evaluation in the next edition

These providers appear to meet the inclusion criteria and were not evaluated in this edition; the evaluated field is expanded on the annual cycle, and screening for the 2027 edition begins 15 November 2026. Listing here is neither a ranking nor a judgment.

  • gevekom (Germany) — DACH-market CX specialist
  • Pontica Solutions (Bulgaria) — CEE digital-first CX provider
  • Bosch Service Solutions (Germany) — CX/BPO subsidiary of the Bosch Group; standalone evaluability (own reporting, own certifications scope) to be assessed
  • Yource (Netherlands) — Benelux CX provider
  • Covisian (Italy) — Italian-market leader with Iberia and LatAm delivery
  • Capita's CX division (UK) — per the exclusion note above; a candidate for standalone evaluation rather than at group level
  • Intelcia's European operations (Morocco HQ) — currently excluded on headquarters scope; in scope only if that boundary is revisited
  • Webhelp-successor European entities — as the Concentrix structure settles and separately evaluable European entities become identifiable

Providers that believe they qualify can submit their details for the next screening cycle — inclusion is free and cannot be purchased.

Why this page exists: most "top providers" lists never say who was considered and rejected. Publishing the screening record is the cheapest possible proof that the evaluated field wasn't reverse-engineered from a preferred outcome — and it gives every reader the means to challenge the boundary. Both are the point.
